Street Genius 2010

Its our final day today and this past five weeks has been such a journey from finding out what a VC and a GC where to making an exhibition on them. I will miss everyone here and i cant wait until the launch in november. googbye iwm and evreyone here. sad face

So today was our last day here, this went by so quick. i learnt so much over the course of the last few weeks and will always remember my time here. Hopefully the exhibition will look great and all our hardwork woouldve paid off, and loads of people turn up to the Lord Ashcroft Gallery. I wish everyone the best and want to thank Rachel and Sarita :) see everyone in september

This has been a long journey. Learning new things and meeting new people. It has been difficult at times in that I had to re-write some of my work or run from Stockwell to my school then back. I have met lovely people that I would not usual meet and learnt new things from them such as "onion vinegar". I'm looking forward to our final piece; and am intrigued as to how our exhibition will turn out. Goodbye

Today has been somewhat of a challenge. Approaching random people on the street is not something I do often. I guess life is about doing things you do not normally do or infact trying new things. One week left and then we shall present out masterpiece.

THIS WEEK WENT BY QUICK COS WE WERE ALL SO BUSY DOING WORK. WE FINALLY FINISHED OUR FIRST DRAFTS OF TEXT AND GOT OUR PICS AND CAPTIONS ETC. WE DONE SO MUCH WORK THIS WEEK AND ALL HELPED EACHOTHER!

had a really long week, done so much work. finished text and pics. now gotta wait til next week

today was more detailed than last week, i was concentrating on my theme and I chose pictures and texts which help inspire my ideas for the exhibiton. the whole group worked really hard today!

Day 6 this week has been very good we have been doing reasearch and i am doing endurance and a lot of our ideas are coming together. see you next week diary lol jake

Hmmmm well today was rather interesting. Attempting to find a reason why aggression is a good thing has proven to be a difficult task.... one that I enjoed but difficult. Collecting horrific pictures of corpses and some of the most infamous dictators in world history. Today has been an informitive day!

i learned about sacrifice an done alot of research it was ok i need to work on to gt up early so i can reach here b4 every1 but this is a good cource an ill tel al ma friend to apply for it next year.

This week i have met new people and discvovered new things and we even got a tour of fire exits around the museum. I can officially say that i am a street genius and i feel welcome.

So today we got a bit more into the project, we all done our plan which included our aims, brief, target audience and we were told about deadlines which was really helpful because it gave some sort of idea about how much we have to do and the schedule to stick to!! so yeah that was quiet helpful. Now we just have to wait until next week when the real work begins.. all the research and text production!!
